Urban School was founded in 1966 as the first co-ed independent high school in San Francisco. Urban combines acclaimed college-preparatory curriculum for grades 9-12 with a nationally recognized four-year service learning program, competitive and league-winning athletics, and a rich selection of co-curricular activities.
