Students entering grades 9 to 12 and their families are invited to a High School Tour & Shadow Day at the East Bay International High School (EBIHS). Find out why EBIHS was voted Best High School in the East Bay!
EBIHS is an accredited International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering the prestigious IB Diploma Programme to all its students. The IB is an academically rigorous, internationally focused approach often described as the “gold standard” in high school education. Studies show that IB graduates are admitted to Ivy League and other top-tier universities at a rate 4 to 5 times higher than non-IB graduates. All EBIHS students take essay writing and Advanced Placement (AP) courses in grades 9 and 10, preparing them for success in the IB Diploma Programme in grades 11 and 12.
No prior knowledge of a foreign language is required for admission to EBIHS. The language of instruction is English, and students choose from multiple language tracks with beginner to native speaker courses in French, German, or Spanish, as well as introductory Mandarin. Students who elect advanced coursework in a second language can earn the Bilingual IB Diploma, distinguishing themselves even further in university admissions.
The High School Tour & Shadow Day will take place on Friday, December 12, from 9 am to 11 am at our Emeryville campus. Families will tour the campus and meet our faculty and leadership. Students will experience first-hand our dynamic learning environment.
Our campus is located at 1070 41st St, Emeryville, CA 94608. Contact us at [email protected] with any questions. We look forward to meeting you!
