Get ready for a holiday weekend filled with joyful movement and fearless creativity at the HeART with LINES Camp!
We dedicate this time to helping students explore dance using our foundational HeART with LINES curriculum, rooted in our philosophy of humility, empathy, artistry, ritual, and truth. We encourage every young mover to embrace the philosophy of LINES Ballet Artistic Director and Co-Founder Alonzo King: that dance is a continuous journey where we must “never be afraid to fail hard and try something new for the first time.” The camp is led by our amazing team of LINES Ballet Community Program Teaching Artists.
What to Expect
Each day includes:
90-minute Core Class where students build dance skills emphasizing rhythm, feeling, and flow;
90-minute Creative Project in which campers explore their individual voices, choice making, and collaboration;
plus lunch and snacks…
…all in a lighthearted, supportive environment designed for self-discovery!
