Enjoy a day with family and friends at Made in the Shade, Sunday, November 2, 11am–2pm, hosted by Shadelands Walnut Creek and held on the campus of the Shadelands SportsMall, 2640 Shadelands Drive, Walnut Creek.
Free and family-friendly, the popular, all-community Made in the Shade festival features live music, food trucks, ice cream, craft beer, exhibitors, giveaways, face painting, demonstrations, and sports activities for young and old including yoga, soccer, gymnastics, basketball, taekwondo, and batting cages. Making special appearances will be the Joybound People & Pets Adoption Mobile and the Project Pink Wheels pink fire engine.
Local taproom Calicraft Brewing Co. will bring its best microbrews and spritzers to the table, and branded Made in the Shade sunglasses will be handed out upon check-in, while supplies last.
Shadelands businesses and nonprofits are invited to showcase their organizations with an exhibitor table; exhibitor logos and website links appear on the Made in the Shade webpage.
