Come to Old Oakland on Friday, July 25th for the Old Oakland Summer Stroll – a community-driven celebration of local food, art, and culture. From 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, our historic neighborhood will come alive as restaurants and shops step out onto the sidewalk to share their goods, joined by artists, performers, food vendors, and more from all over the Bay.
You can expect…
– Singing, poetry, and other performances on a sidewalk stage, featuring workers from our neighborhood
– Local soccer teams (Oakland Roots & Oakland Soul) will be here games and giveaways!
– 20+ arts, crafts, and food vendors on the sidewalks
– An interactive video game exhibit by the Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment supporting the 30th anniversary of Mech Warrior
– Open hours in local galleries (including E14 Gallery, Seven Mirrors Gallery, Omiiroo, and more)
