Celebrate Tu B’Shvat in a Joyful Olive Grove Gathering with Tri-Valley Cultural Jews
Livermore, CA – Get ready to celebrate trees, land, and community in a whole new way! Tri-Valley Cultural Jews, a local secular, humanist Jewish group is delighted to invite the community to a one-of-a-kind Tu B’Shvat celebration on Sunday, February 1, at 10:30am.
This year, the New Year of the Trees will be celebrated in a way the community has never done before–by gathering in the olive grove of one of its members. Surrounded by living trees and open land, participants will mark Tu B’Shvat through direct connection with nature, community, and shared values. Organizers are deeply grateful for the opportunity to celebrate in such a meaningful and special setting.
Tu B’Shvat is a time to honor trees, land, and renewal, and this gathering brings those themes to life in a hands-on and relaxed way.. The celebration reflects a secular, humanist approach to Jewish culture–rooted in connection and care for the world we share.
This gathering will take place outdoors, so we encourage everyone to dress comfortably for the weather. To make the celebration even sweeter, please bring a dish to share and enjoy together.
TVCJ is proud to create inclusive, meaningful Jewish celebrations that reflect diverse Jewish and multicultural backgrounds. People of all gender identities, sexual orientations, and family structures are welcome and celebrated.
Reservations are required and a donation of $15 per non-member adult is suggested, though all are welcome regardless of ability to donate. For more information, directions, or to RSVP, please email [email protected] or call 925-399-8029.
