At The Berkeley School, students are given the tools to achieve their full potential as individual scholars, members of their local communities, and active citizens of the world.
We believe education is an evolving journey between individuals and the world around them. Thus, we strive to create a learning environment where students feel seen, supported, and known for their multiple identities and their individual learning styles are honored.
Our multi-age Early Childhood classrooms incorporate the essence of Montessori and Reggio Emilia pedagogies to provide child-centered learning opportunities. Our beautiful campus, which is a certified natural habitat, provides endless possibilities for open-ended exploration and experiential learning. Our Bridge (TK) program is an option for children turning 5 years old at the beginning of the school year, offering a more structured and academically rigorous setting to prepare children for our kindergarten program.
