Redwood Christian Schools provides a Christ-centered education that equips students for daily living and eternal life, inspiring them to reach their full potential.
Our Community
Redwood Christian Schools is a private learning community serving students from the East Bay Area and around the world through our Global Student Program. Our convenient location is just 25 miles southeast of San Francisco. We operate two distinct campuses to best serve our students: our Castro Valley Campus nurtures children from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 5th grade, while our San Lorenzo Campus provides a comprehensive educational experience for students in 6th through 12th grade.
We also extend our support to homeschool students, recognizing the diverse educational needs of families.
Our Commitment
As an interdenominational Christ-centered school, we are proud to serve a vibrant community of families from over 130 churches representing more than 30 Christian denominations. While academics and faith are paramount, we believe in holistic development, which is why we also offer competitive athletics and comprehensive fine arts programs. Our core objectives guide every aspect of our educational approach: we strive to establish Christian Truth as a guide for life, maintain high academic standards, instill pure morals, generate a spirit of patriotism, and promote a disciplined life.
Inspiring Full Potential
At Redwood Christian Schools, we are dedicated to inspiring students to unlock their full potential. Our approach is thoughtfully designed to evolve with each stage of a child’s development, ensuring they are both supported and challenged:
TK & Kindergarten: Igniting Curiosity — We provide a full day of hands-on, playful first school experiences, fostering a love for learning from the very start.
1st-3rd Grade: Cultivating Resilience — We instill a growth mindset, teaching students how to embrace challenges and excel through them.
4th-5th Grade: Fostering Independence — We empower our upper elementary students to become independent and responsible learners, preparing them for greater autonomy.
Middle School (6th-8th Grade): Discovering Passions — We challenge students to explore their interests, encouraging them to try new things and uncover their unique talents.
High School: Empowering Futures — We give students opportunities to apply their learning in diverse, real-world ways, preparing them for their next steps.
We are committed to being excellent educators, spiritual mentors, and responsible stewards. Redwood Christian Schools has a rich history of equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in the future, fostering their growth as unique individuals created in the image of God.
