At Escuela Bilingüe Internacional (EBI), we offer a transformative PK–8 education that combines Spanish-English bilingualism, the academic rigor of the International Baccalaureate (IB), and a deep commitment to social-emotional learning (SEL).

SEL is woven into every aspect of the EBI experience—from the classroom to the playground—nurturing self-awareness, empathy, resilience, and strong interpersonal skills. Our students learn to manage emotions, resolve conflicts peacefully, and lead with compassion—skills essential to thriving in today’s interconnected world.

As the only IB World School on the West Coast to offer both the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP) in Spanish and English, EBI delivers an immersive, inquiry-based education led by faculty from over 15 countries. Our students think critically, collaborate across cultures, and engage meaningfully with a complex and changing world.

From Pre-Kinder through Grade 8, students develop full bilingualism in Spanish and English, gaining lifelong cognitive, academic, and social advantages. EBI graduates emerge as confident, capable global citizens who take action in their communities and care deeply about the future of our planet.

We welcome students from a wide range of language backgrounds. In early elementary grades, students are immersed in Spanish as they build bilingual proficiency. For students entering Grades 2–8 with little or no prior Spanish exposure, our Accelerated Spanish Program (ASP) offers intensive language instruction and individualized support—empowering them to thrive in our bilingual classrooms and develop fluency over time.
