Welcome to Stratford’s San Francisco De Montfort Campus
Stratford’s first San Francisco campus location is located between San Francisco City College and San Francisco State University. This preschool through 5th-grade campus features a full-size gymnasium for P.E. and after-school sports, a library, a stage, and two playgrounds.
Located in the Ingleside neighborhood, our San Francisco De Montfort campus features a strong emphasis on social-emotional learning and character development. Our Golden Paw program provides students with opportunities to learn and practice various character traits, while our Stratford Cares program fosters community involvement through student-led giving initiatives. Our campus also emphasizes multicultural learning through events such as the Multicultural Caravan and our Multicultural Fashion Show. We also observe heritage months and cultural celebrations throughout the year, providing our students with the opportunity to explore the richness of our global community.
Stratford School balances an innovative STEAM curriculum that integrates social-emotional learning, character development, and extracurricular enrichment for students from Early Preschool through High School. In addition to a daily focus on the foundational skills in reading, writing, math, history, and science, we also emphasize art and self-expression and include specialty teachers in music, P.E., computer science, and world languages (Spanish and Mandarin). Preschool students also enjoy ample opportunities for play and exploration throughout their day. Our robust program fosters collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and leadership skills, all designed to nurture a lifelong love of learning.
We know children are exceptionally good at asking questions about the world around them. Building on what comes naturally to kids, we fuel our students’ curiosity both inside and outside the classroom. This is done everywhere on campus, from our Science Lab to our full-sized gymnasium. We value teaching the mind and heart equally. Our dedicated team of teachers instills a core foundation of knowledge upon which more knowledge can be built, as well as the skills students need to participate fully in an ever-changing global world.
