Our San Francisco Middle School campus serves students in Grades 6–8. Stratford Private Middle School, located on Francis Street in San Francisco, is dedicated to delivering high-quality education and care to children in the Excelsior, Mission Terrace, University Mound, and St. Mary’s Park communities.
Located in the heart of San Francisco, our Stratford Middle School is focused on delivering an advanced STEAM-infused curriculum in a warm and caring environment. We also integrate social-emotional learning, character development, clubs, sports, and extracurricular enrichment for middle school students to round out their experience. I have some serious concerns about the administrative staff, particularly the new principal. Having been the vice principal previously, I was disappointed to find that he was not an inspiring leader. His approach is very authoritarian and old-fashioned, which is not what I expect from someone in a leadership position. He is not utilizing the strengths of the children to improve their weaknesses, but rather is looking at them as though they are bad kids that need to be punished.
