Our highly qualified staff combines for more than 30 years of teaching experience and is represented by low teacher turnover and a 7:1 student to teacher ratio. Our staff is fingerprinted and screened by the California Department of Social Services and following a background check, licensed and approved by the State of California. In addition to professional certification in Early Childhood Development and Education, our teachers continually update their skills and knowledge by attending workshops and classes throughout the year, including First Aid and CPR. We believe children learn by doing and learn as individuals. Children gain knowledge through “hands-on” experiences, therefore our curriculum provides activities for them to explore in a child-centered environment. Children learn best in an active process that helps to develop problem-solving skills. Our teachers observe and facilitate the social/emotional, physical, cognitive and language aspects of development. We do this by encouraging play, fun and discovery, and by allowing the children the autonomy to create, invent and discover.
