Sonoma Country Day School (SCDS) is an independent, co-educational day school located an hour north of San Francisco in Santa Rosa, California. Serving 275 students in grades TK-8, the school’s mission is To Bring Learning to Life through our five Guiding Principles: Engagement, Integrity, Relationship, Creativity, and Contribution. Our program is academically rigorous with a focus on lab-based science, world language study, written and oral expression, leadership, and the fine and performing arts, and has been designed to develop autonomous, self-reflective learners who are prepared for a wide range of secondary school enrollments academically, artistically, and socially/emotionally.
