The King’s Academy inspires academic excellence, servant leadership, and enduring relationships.
At TKA, students graduate with a sense of belonging, a sense of purpose, and a sense of significance. With a low teacher:student ratio, students receive individual attention and encouragement to do their best. Our 1:1 technology program and collaborative classroom environment ensures students are responsible digital and global citizens with 21st century literacy skills. TKA offers 18 Advanced Placement Courses and 10 Honors Courses.
Through TKA’s Spiritual Life program and service trips, students grow in their faith, make a difference to others, and transform into servant leaders. During the annual Service Week, high school students serve both locally and destinations throughout the world. At TKA, fun is strategic to building enduring relationships. Each grade has an annual retreat for class bonding and building relationships with teachers/staff.
TKA offers a stellar Visual and Performing Arts program known throughout the Bay Area (art, dance, theatre, vocal and instrumental music) and fields over 55 competitive athletic teams in 13 sports.
In 2022, 99% of graduates attended college (91% attended 4-year; 8% 2-year colleges). At the beginning of the freshmen year, each student is assigned a college counselor who will work alongside the student through their college admissions process.
