Fusion Academy Walnut Creek is a private 1:1 school serving grades 4th–12th across two campuses in the heart of the East Bay. Our model is simple but transformative: every student is paired with a dedicated teacher in a private classroom setting, allowing for fully personalized instruction tailored to each learner’s pace, strengths, and goals. In addition, we offer small group teaching.
We serve a diverse student population — including students with learning differences, anxiety, ADHD, giftedness, and those who simply haven’t thrived in traditional school environments. Our approach removes the noise of a conventional classroom and replaces it with focused, relationship-driven learning that meets students exactly where they are.
At Fusion Walnut Creek, academics are only part of the story. Our Therapeutic Learning Environment (TLE) provides students with access to licensed therapists and emotional support, recognizing that social-emotional wellness and academic success are deeply connected. Students don’t have to choose between getting better and getting their education — they can do both, at the same time, in the same place.
Our flexible scheduling allows families to build a school day that works for their lives. Whether a student needs a full academic load or a bridge program to transition back into a structured setting, we meet families where they are and grow from there. We also offer credit recovery, subject-specific enrollment, and support for students navigating IEPs, 504 plans, or other accommodations.
Fusion Walnut Creek maintains strong relationships with local educational therapists, psychologists, therapists, and school counselors who trust us as a placement option for their most complex and deserving students. These partnerships are central to how we serve our community.
Our two Walnut Creek campuses — located on Oak Road and in downtown Walnut Creek — create an intimate, welcoming atmosphere where students feel seen, supported, and genuinely excited to show up. At Fusion, every student matters — not as a number in a classroom, but as an individual with a story worth investing in.
