St. John the Baptist School is a Pre-School through 8th-grade Catholic school of 200 students. We proudly provide a faith-filled education for our boys and girls by studying the Catholic faith as well as other faiths that impact our students. All grade levels work on service projects for the school, the community, and our world. Our students are academically prepared for high school and love to learn.

St. John the Baptist School is fully accredited by the Western Catholic Education Association (WCEA) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Our students are actively involved with student leadership, sports, music, technology projects, and spirit events throughout the year.

We welcome you to visit our campus or website and hope you enjoy all that the St. John the Baptist School community has to offer.

About the Top 5 Faith-Based Middle Schools in the 2022 Parents Press Readers Choice Poll

The Best of Parents Press was born with the idea to give readers in the Bay Area a chance to voice their opinions on their personal ‘Family Favorite’ choices for Faith-Based Middle Schools and everything kids and family. The program has evolved over the years, and hopefully, with a lot of input from our readers, we’ve been able to make it better and better.

The voting for Contra Costa County Faith-Based Middle Schools is conducted in a two-round process. The first round occurs in the month of March and early April with open write-in nominations for parent’s favorite Faith-Based Middle Schools taking place.

As the nomination period for Faith-Based Middle Schools in the first round comes to a close, shortly after, the second round opens with the top nominee Faith-Based Middle Schools being selectable in this final round of voting during the month of April and May. Write-in nominations are no longer available, and voters are open to select their favorite Faith-Based Middle Schools from among those that are listed.

The final winners are posted in the August issue of Parents Press

We hope you enjoy! And we hope you come back to vote next year!
